This policy describes how the Find Five Letter Words site (“we”, “this site”) handles information when you use the word list tool.
Filters and browsing
The word finder runs entirely in your browser on your device. Length settings and optional “starts with”, “contains”, or “ends with” choices are not sent to our servers and are not stored by us. We do not offer user accounts, logins, or saved profiles.
Dictionary data
On first use, the site loads a static tournament-style word list that is embedded in index.html (or optionally from a words.txt file if your host provides one). That file contains dictionary entries only—not anything you select in the filters. After load, filtering happens locally.
Analytics and advertising
We do not use third-party advertising on this site at the time of this update. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy and describe any cookies or ad partners involved.
Log data
Our hosting provider may automatically collect standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and operations. We do not use those logs to identify you for marketing.
Children
This site is intended for general use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” note at the top will change when we do.
